Introduction to Nature Reserve

The Rasa Ria Reserve, a 64 acre tropical jungle nestled at the foot of Sabah’s iconic Mount Kinabalu – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – brings hotel guests closer to Sabah by experiencing Malaysia’s Culture, Adventure and Nature.

The reserve is home to incredible varieties of flora and fauna, bird species, 100 types of butterflies and indigenous wildlife including the endangered and protected Pangolin.

Split into two distinctive zones – Nature Reserve and Adventure Point, the 64-acre Rasa Ria Reserve provides natural habitat for visitors with a passion for learning and experiential experiences.

Discovery Center

Experience the beauty of the Rasa Ria Nature Reserve with a variety of activities offered at the Discovery Centre. Guided walking trails and viewing site at the summit of Timpak Pogimpaan creates an access to the peaceful mountain views of Mount Kinabalu and fleets of majestic trees with a breathtaking scenery.

Guests will be able to choose from a variety of enhanced experiences in the Nature Reserve from the Discovery Centre, which educate guests about the indigenous wildlife and plants through interactive exhibits.
