Introduction to Community

The mere mention of Borneo evokes thoughts of an earthly paradise and the many spledour of the state. Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu is strategically located in a tropical area and is blessed with beautiful natures from jungle to seashore, unique cultures and friendly people.

Tuaran District is located on the West Coast of Sabah, Malaysia, with the main population consisting of ethnic Dusuns of the Lotud ethnic subgroup and Bajau descent. The remainder comprises the Malaysian Chinese community, particularly from the Hakka subgroup and Malay. The town is bordered on three sides by the Tuaran River, 34 kilometres north of the state capital Kota Kinabalu and strategically situated along the main highway linking Kota Kinabalu with the north of Sabah.

Community Feature

Sabah's population is made up 33 indigenous groups that communicate in over 50 languages and 80 ethic dialects. The community and the people in Sabah are a big part of the Malaysian hospitality in the state.
